Open-source AI for robotics
Embodied AI is where the model meets the motor. With 600+ tracked projects, robotics is the largest industry vertical in our graph: robot-learning frameworks, ROS ecosystems, drone autonomy, self-driving stacks and the simulation tools that train them all — ranked by traction, momentum and maintenance health, every day.
What is embodied AI?
AI that perceives and acts in the physical world — robots, drones, vehicles. It combines perception models, planning and control, which is why the open-source stack here spans from neural nets to ROS packages.
Do I need a physical robot to start?
No: most projects here train and evaluate in simulation first (Isaac, MuJoCo, Gazebo ecosystems). Sim-to-real transfer is the field's core discipline.
Why is robotics the biggest vertical?
The field open-sources aggressively: hardware makers publish their stacks to build ecosystems, and research labs release benchmarks and policies. Our classifier catches all of it.
